Day Five - Learning English @ Po On Commercial Association Wong Siu Ching Secondary School

The second school that we visited has a long name but it was the school that we enjoyed the most.

We arrived early at 7.30 am and the moment we stepped into the school,we were warmly welcomed by the pupils, the teachers and also the Principal. The pupils then gave a presentation about the programmes in their school. We were impressed that they spoke such good English.

Besides that,their choral speaking team gave us an entrancing performance on a poem.

The school had planned many programmes for us and we were also paired with a buddy. They create ice breaking games to reduce the tension  and  anxiety in the atmosphere as we were all shy meeting our new friends in the school. We played a game where we had to stay freeze when the music played topped. It was a friendly match between Wong Siu Ching Secondary School and Hong Kah Secondary School students to see who would be the last one standing. Glad to say to our friend, Ameerul Ashiq from 2A was one of the students who remained. He was such a sporting guy and most of the Hong Kong students found him really cute.

This school brings such fond memories as the students took care of us by having lunch with us, take us on an MTR ride and also a ride on a ferry to visit Hong Kong Museum of History.

We made new friends and though it was only for a day, we already became close.We were all sad to leave and hope our friendship woud not end  when we leave Hong Kong. We exchanged email and facebook names to keep in touch.
